I'd rather the Hypermotard. Because supermoto.

Nice, if you don't mind VERY complex and probably a bit pricey to keep maintained.
It is begging for a Tricolore paint scheme, not just a tricolore floor covering.

I don't even ride motorbikes and I want that

Here's the facelifted Hypermotard.

I heard that newer Ducatis aren't that maintenance intensive, although services will be pricier than most bikes.
I like the all white on the Panigale. It just looks classy.

More power than the previous 1100cc model out of an 821cc twin. Better range as well.

Agreed, that white looks awesome.
Another white I want...

I love Aprilias. She looks so beautiful in white.

I have heard that the air-cooled, 'scantily clad' bikes aren't too bad.
But A full fairing, a race-bred frame (long term maintenance not really a high priority of access through the frame tubes), and 8 desmodromic valves, plus liquid cooling... I have heard you have to do a lot of digging to get to the engine to do the maintenance.

It would be a very tough decision between those 2

I always wanted a 749. 899 is less than 1199 which is good for your survival odds. I simply could not fathom how quickly I'd drive to my grave with that much power.
How I miss their twin projector headlights. I also prefer the bad ass look of the twin tailpipes below the seat cowl.

Yes, please. White will be fine. Kthanksbye.

I do ride, got my first dirt bike at the tender age of 4 or 5 (memory's kinda hazy, that was a looooong time ago. Honda Elsinore 50cc). Anyway, I ride... but looking at that bike, I definitely understand your statement. That bike is sex on wheels.

Yes, it's going to be more than a Honda or Yamaha, but it has gotten a lot better in the past 10 years. The 996 needed desmo valve adjustments almost every other oil change. The new motors can go 15-18K before the first major service.

That is somewhat better.
I still think it seems like a lot of the bike to dig through to gain access.
And I would say the same thing about the Honda RC51 fully-faired, water-cooled V-twin, as well, and other bikes where the engines are buried under a lot of ancillaries.

I seriously dreamt about this bike a month ago. I was riding it. It was glorious.

The only difference I found between doing work on a full-fairing bike and a naked bike is taking off the fairings. Water-cooling, of course always adds the radiator in the way if you need to do anything serious, like get to the heads.

basically, you are right.
But if you have to either do the work yourself, or especially if you are paying a professional by the hour...
This bike is a lot easier to get into than the 899 Panigale above.
The frame doesn't even impede the timing service.
I wish they still built this bike, with a 900-1000cc, rev-happy version of the 1100 Evo engine, and other recent updates.
